Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026: India A Face Pakistan A on February 15
The Asian Cricket Council has announced that the second edition of the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from February 13 to 22, 2026. This T20 tournament is designed to showcase the next generation of women's cricket talent, featuring 'A' teams from four full-member nations and four leading associate teams from across Asia. India A women have been placed in Group A alongside Pakistan A, UAE, and Nepal. They will begin their campaign against UAE on February 13, face arch-rivals Pakistan A on February 15—the same day the senior men's teams meet in the T20 World Cup—and conclude their group stage against Nepal on February 17.
The tournament was originally scheduled for June 2025 in Sri Lanka but was postponed due to adverse weather conditions and public health concerns. The inaugural edition in Hong Kong saw India A defeat Bangladesh A in the final. Group B consists of Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Malaysia, and Thailand. The semi-finals are scheduled for February 20, with the final on February 22.
